Christmas, Tradition, Change and Meaning
Christmas brings many traditions to families. Yet, over the years there are many changes that take place.
People come and go from our lives whether it is personal circumstances, situations beyond our control or death. These changes can be very hard for some and make the Christmas season a difficult time.
Looking back at past Christmases that were shared with loved ones that are no longer with us can cause a depressed feeling. Instead of looking back with sorrow, hold on to the memories with gratitude that you had those times to share. Share those memories with a joyful heart, embrace the new and enjoy all the blessings.
For the true meaning of Christmas is LOVE.
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.” John 3:16-17.
This is the LOVE of Christmas. This love needs to continue through the year and eternity not just turned on when the tree lights up.
My Christmas wish is that we all keep the LOVE of Christmas lit up and shining strong for all to see, embrace and share.
So, are you with me?? Let’s light this world up and touch lives with LOVE. Make the difference, be the difference, it starts with you!
Wishing you all a Christmas filled with LOVE and blessings that continue forever.
Peace, joy and LOVE,
